kicking off the new semester

New semester, New energies, New ideas

This was our first week back at the lab after our mid semester break and as a team we knew that this semester we will be working hard so we can take Yumi to the next level. We started off the semester learning the importance of knowing what value propositions you have and want your product to have. We sat as a group to discuss all the different aspects of Yumi, we started off with talking about the user’s needs, wants and fears and what will bring them to need and use Yumi. Then we moved on to talk about Yumi’s features, benefit and experience she will bring to the users.




After going through all the value propositions, we concluded that the shape we chose for Yumi wasn’t fitting with the values that we came up with. The group decided to focus Yumi’s design on the main distraction that came up from our user interviews and that was phone use. we started coming up with new ideas and finally decided that the most fitting design will be a smart phone cradle for the car.
