Week 3 - continued: Setbacks lead to Steps Forward 💪🏼

Updated: Oct 27, 2021

We continued to discuss the chosen need, Humor, and came to consensus that it isn't necessarily the direction we want to go about at the moment. We agreed that some aspect of humor could definitely be implemented down the road when we reach the solution stage, but for now we'd like to focus on something else that interests all of us. We each shared one main thing that stood out to us from the interviews with experts that we conducted last week, and noticed that there was a repeating theme that arose amongst all of us which was, Interpersonal Interactions within Social Settings. We discussed many aspects of this domain, different situations, such as starting school, starting a new job, dating, public speaking, group settings, one on one settings. We also spoke about different age groups, and how regarding younger kids we find that the need to understand one's feelings and the ability to communicate it to others is crucial in creating a new interaction. We believe that all of these are relevant for creating new interactions but also for maintaining ongoing and current interactions and relationships.

The next step is for each of us is to decide on an end user that interests us and that we'd like to interview, after that we'll write up non leading, non biased and interesting interview questions. The goal is to have a better understanding of what problems and pain points arise for people within this domain, what's missing, and what could be improved.

After completing the steps above we believe we'll have a better understanding of which population and target audience we'd like to move forward with.

Hopefully at the end of this week we'll be able to define a recurring and common problem/problems and a need that will derive from the problem. 😎
